Thibault Vinet, Senior Naval Architect, ESCO France comments:
‘’I’m incredibly happy to join ESCO France. I’m looking forward to applying my skills, knowledge and experience to support the team and our local clients as well as expanding our local maritime offering. ‘’

Thibault joins ESCO with a diverse background in nearly all aspects of the shipping industry. Throughout his professional career, he has supported French ports and harbours in their decarbonisation strategies. This involved studying the potential of alternative fuels and shore power from financial, legal, and technical perspectives, including port facilities and internal organisation.
Additionally, he has managed numerous newbuild and retrofit ship projects (including propulsion, jumboisation, and onboard arrangements), overseeing all phases from specification to shipyard delivery.
As a project manager, he has conducted research on behalf of shipowners and maritime groups to explore the integration of innovative technologies on different types of ships, from passenger ships to RORO ships, including container ships. These technologies include alternative fuels, wind propulsion, and onboard energy optimisation for both new vessels and conversion projects.
Vincent Frasse-Mathon, Head of Owner Engineering/Consultancy for ESCO France comments:

‘’Thibault has developed deep expertise in evaluating and implementing sustainable and innovative solutions for the maritime sector, actively contributing to the industry’s transition.
His diverse skills and commitment to innovation make him a key asset for our clients in their drive to transform their maritime practices towards greater sustainability.’’
