He is a generalist Project Manager with a mechanical engineering background and over 10 years of project management experience in the energy infrastructure sector.  He is accustomed to the specificities of multiple energy markets, having worked on major projects in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. His key experiences include the management of fast-track energy projects at tender or auction stage, during development and execution, early definition of project financing requirements and negotiation of complex partnership agreements with industry leaders.

His cross-industry experiences working for an EPCI contractor, project developer and vessel owner provide him with the necessary versatility to efficiently interact with all stakeholders along the project lifecycle, while benefiting from cross-industry insights.

Throughout his career, Yong Da has gained extensive experience in the oil and gas as well as renewable sectors, fulfilling roles as a naval architect and marine warranty surveyor. His involvement in various projects has encompassed a wide scope of work, including naval architecture analysis, project management, and on-site presence.

Hemant’s extensive background lies in managing Container ships engaged in global trade, which served as a strong foundation for his transition into the field of Marine Salvage. Starting as a Salvage Coordinator, he went on to the role of Salvage Master, gaining experience with every project. Progressing further, he assumed the position of Operations Manager, where he became the key liaison for all stakeholders involved in salvage operations throughout the APAC region, including ship owners, underwriters, and local authorities.

Thereafter, Hemant was internally transferred to a mega land reclamation project using Polder Technology in Singapore at the inception stage. As the head of the Logistics and Temporary Works team, his team played an essential role in the project. Following a two-year deployment on the project, Hemant was called upon to lead the Singapore office of the Salvage division, representing the APAC region.

Throughout his career, Hemant has gained experience and contributed expertise to over 150 salvage operations across the globe. Now, Hemant joins the ESCO group, bringing his wealth of salvage and project management experience to fortify our Maritime team, ensuring unparalleled solutions for our clients.

As an engineer with an academic background in naval architecture, he has also performed naval architectural analyses for marine operations. He develops procedures/plans and performs estimates of costing and scheduling to aid operation execution. 

Before joining the ESCO Consultants, he had several years of experience in the oil & gas and maritime industry as a design engineer with the scope of detailed engineering structural design for rigs/floaters and yard production support. He had also been responsible for project engineering management and coordination for offshore wind projects in China.

Li Xiang has over ten years’ experience in offshore engineering and loss prevention, principally focused on engineering analysis and review/approval of Jack-up rigs, Windfarm Installation jack-ups and various offshore installation activities. His main expertise is in jack-up installation, as well as foundation assessment and Site-Specific Assessment for jack-up units, geotechnical and geophysical review for jack-up installation sites, and geohazard mitigations. Li Xiang has worked on both Renewable and Oil & Gas projects across Africa, Asia Pacific, Central Asia, Middle East, and North America.

He is involved in a myriad of offshore transportation and installation projects and worked both as a naval architect for analysis and as a field engineer during operations. He participated in the design of CLVs, FPSOs, and FLNGs, leading design discussions in compliance with flag administration, classification society requirements, client requirements, international codes and standards, as well as interface management. He also has background in marine systems having served onboard vessel as a marine engineer for 6 years.

He oversaw various work packages from contract set-up, project set-up, technical and commercial project execution from initiation to close out, dealing with both end clients and subcontractor management interfaces. He was also an offshore client representative for wind farm installation and floating solar installation.

Danny is a Singaporean citizen, a native English speaker and fluent in Chinese.
