Stefano is a qualified naval architect with 25 years’ experience in ship design, engineering consulting, project management and marine surveying. He has expert knowledge in ship technology, energy efficiency measures, alternative fuels and the fast-evolving decarbonisation regulatory international framework.

He has a strong passion and interest in sustainability, decarbonisation and energy efficiency, and he is a supporting member of the International Windship Association.

Stefano holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and has been growing and managing businesses for the last ten years. Before joining ESCO Consultants, he was the Managing Director of the world’s largest superyacht sailing systems service business.

Stefano is highly customer focussed, with extensive international and multilingual experience. He is from Venice in Italy and is fluent in English, Italian and Spanish.

As Chief Surveyor over a period of 6 years, Wayne was responsible, inter alia, for the daily running of the UAE Maritime team, managing all surveyors and consultants in the region and their respective cases and ensuring high quality and timely reporting to our principals.

As Managing Director of the Maritime Business line for the Middle East, North Africa (MENA) and India regions, Wayne is responsible for the day-to-day Maritime survey operations, managing the surveyors and their output to the market with the support of the Chief Surveyor, ensures compliance with the company SOPs and our quality standards, resolves disputes and complaints, business development and debt collection.

Alexander is part of ESCO Yachts team of surveyors with specific expertise in yacht and superyacht surveys.

Alexander holds a Master of Science Degree (MSc) in Marine Engineering and holds a 1st Class Marine Engineer’s certificate of competency. He also holds a Master of Science Degree (MSc) in Materials Science and Technology Engineering from the Technical University Varna and a Diploma for Marine Accident investigation from Lloyds Maritime Academy & North Kent College.

Adam became a Flag state surveyor for the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) of the UK in 2012 and became the Agency’s Principal Yacht Surveyor in 2017. As Head of Large Yachts for the MCA, Adam was responsible for managing a team that ensured yachts on the UK Flag and built to the UK Code met the appropriate standards.

Adam is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institute of Marine Engineering. He joined ESCO Consultants in 2022.
